Photo Assignment - Landscapes

12.02.07 @ 1:21 am

After a couple months off due to the holidays (and my extremely abstract assignment which was impossible to actually execute on) we got back to basics with what may be the most common, yet most difficult theme to shoot - the landscape. There are some great photos in here, a couple folks took on a more natural type of landscape while others went the more urban route. This was an especially interesting photo assignment to me since I normally do not shoot with the landscape scene in mind. I really did learn a lot from the experience.

Enjoy the photos - I am already looking forward to next week.

I really enjoyed waking up this morning, checking on my favorite website, and finding these amazing photographs to enjoy with my cup of tea. The interpretation of ‘landcape’ is so varied in this set of images.

Traditional photography is a dying art and I am thrilled to see a group of people so passionate about capturing moments in life. I hope to see another set very soon. Thank you for sharing these photos.

First of all thanks for letting me be a part of this, I can see already how much I’m going to learn from participating. I was very impressed with the photos esp. with everyone’s unique interpretations of the landscape genre. I think I’ll wait until I feel a bit more confident in my own eye before I make any suggestions or comments, right now I’m content to just be impressed with everyone’s work. Can’t wait for the next one!
