Alright, now this is much better. This week’s Designing Good has all sorts of great links - it is probably my favorite collection since starting. Toyota’s new Hybrid X has (finally) a very smart automatic-transmision bicycle and a floating wind turbine are all in the collection. Is it just me, or is sustainable design gathering momentum?

There’s a little more automotive links than normal due to the NAIAS. One of the links that really caught my attention was the Chevy Volt as it seems like a concept car that could actually hit production. Apparently hybrids and alternative fuel vehicles are a dime-a-dozen at the show - it is about time.

It’s been a hectic week and I have been struggling to keep up this week for my posts. Last week my wife and I went out to take some photos in North Beach. One of the cool things about North Beach is the limitless diversity of what you could see at any given second. Surprises can come at any turn - or you could be caught surprise by an innocuous scene just as easily. Such is the case of this photo.
