Behold! Knee in awe of the abundance of links I generously present to you this week! Compared to last week’s meager offering, this is the motherload. I thought if there was any time to come up strong, it would be my first real week of regularity. I myself enjoyed all these links quite a bit - I hope you do as well.

This Week’s Weekly Links of the Week - Week 12
August 3rd, 2006This Week’s Weekly Links of the Week - Week 9
July 15th, 2006
It has been another amazingly long week and I have slightly fallen behind in my blogging this week. Nonetheless, through all the craziness, here are this week’s links. Things should begin to start slowing down this week or next which will allow me to spend more time doing some actual writing. Until then, get busy clicking with this batch of linkage.

This Week’s Weekly Links of the Week - Week 4
June 9th, 2006
It is that time of the week again. I made it by the skin of my teeth this time.
I have decided to attempt some organization to the links by general topics. I try to pick a diverse set of links that mirrors my interests and hopefully will be of interest to you as well. I have begun to get submissions for links which I greatly appreciate. I cannot say for certain that all the links will make it every week, but I will try to be more open to suggestions than closed.
Here are this week’s links. Enjoy.

Bitcons+ & Sansons+
June 6th, 2006A few weeks ago, Bitcons and Sanscons hit the milestone of 10,000 downloads combined. I never would have thought so many people would be interested in these icons, but I obviously was wrong. Over 33 percent of my traffic is affiliated with referrals to one of those pages and “Bitcons” is my number one search referral. I definitely do not want to be “the icon guy”, but I still thought it would be good karma to thank you for all the attention by releasing some new versions of the icons. So I have welcomed into the family Bitcons+ and Sanscons+.

RSS vs. RSS - A Tale of Two Icons
March 10th, 2006This article is somewhat belated and could be considered much ado about nothing, but nonetheless I think this is a relevant topic to discuss. Microsoft recently announced that they would be using the RSS icon introduced by the Firefox browser. This was considered a very wise choice by many, including myself at first as it was a victory (albeit small) for standardization. Soon afterward, Matt Brett started a micro-site to help propagate this icon for use by the public. I commend Matt’s efforts and fully back him on the notion that a standard icon needs to be established for syndication. My argument is that we are not backing the right icon…
