The New Camera Arrives

March 26th, 2007

I have been waiting for this moment for quite a while… I have made a significant upgrade from my trusty Nikon FT2 to the Nikon F3HP. I was introduced to this camera by a friend and I have been pining over it ever since. However, I really did not feel the need for more automation until I began moving toward photographing people - after a few sessions, I really felt that auto-exposure would be a significant help. Nonetheless, for those of you who do not have lens filters and/or would rather simulate it in Photoshop, these digital lens filter Photoshop actions will be the next best thing. Below I write about what colored lens filters do to black and white film and how Photoshop can roughly simulate it.
