This Week’s Weekly Links of the Week - Week 49

May 6th, 2007

It was another rough week, but I think there is starting to be some light at the end of the tunnel. While it has not been very apparent, I am slowly continuing to do work on this site. Things should be significantly better in two weeks.

Until then, please try to be patient - I promise cool things are coming.

Enjoy the links.

With Great PageRank Comes Great Responsibility

October 29th, 2006

For nearly two years, I have written for this humble blog. As can be expected over time, the amount of visitors has increased from a tiny trickle, to a small trickle. That being said, the amount of unique visits I get a month, roughly 15,000, is a pretty considerable audience for just your average person. Think about it, if someone told you that they spoke to 15,000 people a month about a certain subject, that would seem pretty impressive. The web has allowed anyone, with little or no money, to do just that or more. Taking a step back, I find that absolutely amazing. Taking another step back, I feel a sense of responsibility to use it for more than just finding it absolutely amazing.

This Week’s Weekly Links of the Week - Week 17

September 10th, 2006

I present this week’s links with a twinge of sadness and excitement. I just found out my good friend, Yousuf, will be moving away from the area relatively soon. I have no doubt that the city he’s moving to will never be the same… :)

So while I mope around for the rest of the day, enjoy the links.

This Week’s Weekly Links of the Week - Week 16

September 2nd, 2006

This week’s links are much more heavy in design and very heavy in politics. I am very aware that politics and design do not really have too much to do with each other, but these weekly links are the one place I let non design or web related issues take the stage.

On another issue, the folks at TerraPass informed me that they are offering a new service for those flying to offset the emissions created from the flight. Environmental issues are always an interest to me and I really like what TerraPass is doing. My wife and I own a TerraPass for our car and I highly suggest you consider getting one as well.

Now, onto the links.

This Week’s Weekly Link of the Week - Week 10

July 22nd, 2006

This week’s links is going to be short and sweet. Unfortunately, the upcoming days are going to take everything I have, so I think it wise not to spend much time blogging. Enjoy the links, I promise there will be many more next week.

I will have quite a bit to talk about in the next couple weeks. As some of you may have heard earlier, I have been working on a rather large project for the last few months which is in its final stages. I will make sure to dish out as many details as I can when the time is appropriate.

Until then, enjoy the links.
