Amazing, a published weekly links on a Friday afternoon. This has got to be a first. I should be publishing a couple cool projects I have been working on in the next few weeks, so make sure to sporadically check in. Thanks to Wild Guess, you will not be seeing any usage of the word ‘very’ in this post. I know, it is our loss - and you can blame him for it. It is too bad because with so many good links this week, I could have used the ‘V’ word many, many times. Because there are not too graphic design links that usually grace this feature, I would highly suggest checking out the Liberation Fonts and Design Can Change links - both are well worth the clicking.

Alright, now this is much better. This week’s Designing Good has all sorts of great links - it is probably my favorite collection since starting. Toyota’s new Hybrid X has (finally) a very smart automatic-transmision bicycle and a floating wind turbine are all in the collection. Is it just me, or is sustainable design gathering momentum?

After a second week of collecting links for Designing Good, I know this is going to be a tough feature. I would like to run closer to 15-20 links every week with more variety than industrial design making an eco-impact. I have hardly any web/print design up to this point, so I will be making a larger effort from this point forward. In addition, I will continue to ask for links from you readers as I really feel participation will take this feature up a significant notch.

I want to make very clear that I have no affiliation whatsoever with any of the links I have published. If, by some chance, I do end up advertising with a company that shows up in the weekly links or in this feature, I will be very upfront about it. That being said, almost all of the products in this list are worth purchasing for yourself or as a gift. You’ll be helping small business and aiding a good cause.
